Hi all, have been on this since February, its been helping a bit and when I go to rheumy next time he will review it. I was running low so ordered some more from gp on Wednesday. Prescription should be ready today, as I only have tonight's dose left. Went to chemist, they havent got it, so I phone gp and they said ti will be ready on Monday, and to ask for 2 x 25mg pills to last until then. Ok, seems sensible. Apparently not, the pharmacist says that I received two packs on 22nd April, with my other meds. I said no, it was on my script but wasnt in with the rest, thats why I ordered it again. After about 10 minutes they insisited that I do have them and th check again as "I probably dont know what I'm looking for" I informed them that I have RA, not mental impairment. She wasnt impressed, and refused to give me 2 pills. Went back to gp which I could have done without, as left foot very swollen and painful and right foot has split skin underneath, so more walking was not what I needed!! They said if I waited they would get it for me, I finally got the script and now will get it tomorrow from pharmacy. What a palava!!!

What a pain for you Barbara and all for a couple of bloomin' pills! This has happened to me before, being told they had dispensed stuff and then getting home and finding it isn't in the bag. It's a simple enough job, I mean for goodness sake you don't actually need to be a rocket scientist to count and check packets of pills, or do you?!!

I always check my stuff before I leave now as I can't be doing with the harassment of having to argue my case! Hope you get the meds tomorrow without problem ThumpUp

Hello Barbara, I'm glad that you got sorted after that palava. I wonder how you would have managed without over the weekend, I take 50mg each night and lay in bed wide awake one night resently and then realised that I had forgoten to take it. I have been taking it for a few years though. x

So frustrating Barbara. Being expected to run round sorting these things out when you feel ill is a nightmare. I hope you manage to get some rest now and your foot gets chance to heal - do you know what's caused it?

What a night mare.

I had that problem twice before them saying that they had given me the drugs when they hadn't (amitripti as well)
I think sometimes they think were stupid . Where has customer service gone.

Hope you sleep well now . ( I do not sleep at all unless I have my amitripti.)

I'm, glad you got your script sorted, I would panic if I didn't have my Amitriptyline every night! Once I went away and forgot to take enough with me. Luckily I sorted it with a local pharmacist who rang my health centre.
